212 projects of importing foreign intelligence had been carried out in 2007. Approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, 110 projects of importing foreign intelligence were given financial aid, with the total amount of 6.32 million RMB yuan. 83 foreign expert programs were introduced to Hubei and 387 foreign experts in technological management worked in Hubei. 1854 person-time of 179 delegations from Hubei were sent abroad for training. 602 industrial and agricultural trainees were sent abroad. There are 322 units qualified to recruit foreign cultural and educational experts. 1,200 foreign cultural and educational experts were invited to Hubei in 2007.
