2007 Conference on the Pioneering Achievements by Overseas Chinese Professionals hosted by the Overseas Chinese Office of the State Council, Hubei Provincial People’s Government and Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, and the 4th Conferences of Overseas Hubei Fellows hosted by Hubei Provincial People’s Government were successfully held.

Over 2500 overseas and domestic representatives attended the conferences, including 400 overseas Chinese professionals and major executives of overseas Chinese associations and delegates from 13 provinces and districts of China.

During the conference, more than 1,400 cooperative and exchanging projects have been introduces to the overseas delegates; more than 300 projects have been proposed by the overseas delegates, and 128 contracts and agreements have been signed. The conferences did not only introduce a group of overseas investments, intelligence and talents, but also broad the mind of scientific innovation and sound development, meet a group of new friends and further extend the international influence of Hubei.
