Overview

Located in the south of Cameroon, the South Region is bounded by the Gulf of Guinea on the west, and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of Congo on the south. It covers an area of 47,110 square kilometers and has a population of about 530,000. Its capital city is Ebolowa.
