疫情突如其来,信息铺天盖地来袭,人们容易被恐惧、焦虑、无助等情绪所困扰。我们应如何调整心态,学会与恐惧和谐相处呢?
第一步,接纳自己的恐惧。
在这场疫情中,如果你恐惧了,请记住并不是只有你在恐惧,别人也在恐惧,大家都一样,不要去否认自己的恐惧情绪。你只需要告诉自己,在这样的疫情面前,恐惧是再自然不过的。
第二步,觉察自己的恐惧。
可以将自己恐惧的内容一条一条列出来,然后再以一个旁观者的角度去思考这些内容:这些真的会发生吗?是不是把小问题放大成了大问题?有没有把暂时性的问题夸张成永久性的问题呢?其实,只需稍微理性分析一下,就会发现让自己恐惧的背后,是自己的那些有限认知,很多都是自己臆想出来的。而这些不合理的认知,却恰恰给我们带来了恐惧的情绪。
第三步,保持适度的恐惧。
保持适度恐惧是面对疫情的最佳心态。适度恐惧可以帮助我们积极主动地关注疫情相关知识,掌握各种防病技能,它也会帮我们行动起来,做好各种防护工作,这都是适度恐惧带给我们的正面资源。
总结起来,面对恐惧我们要做的就是:接纳它,去除不合理的认知,最后肯定它给我们带来的正面资源。

Positive thinking improves physical health
The unexpected epidemic comes with an overwhelming amount of information. It is a time when people are susceptible to fear, anxiety and helplessness. How could we stay positive and learn to co-exist with fear?
1. Accept your fear
Don’t deny your fear if it exists. You, like all the others, are experiencing the same emotional response. Tell yourself fear is only natural amid an epidemic.
2. Know your fear
You can make a list of what you are fearful of, and then view them from the perspective of an onlooker and ask the questions: Will these things really happen? Am I overreacting? Are these permanent problems or just temporary ones? In fact, after some rational thinking, you may realize that it is your lack of understanding of the certain issues that leads to fear. Most of the problems are imaginary ones.
3. Have a moderate amount of fear
A moderate amount of fear is good for you during the outbreak. It encourages us to follow the updates of the epidemic and learn how to prevent ourselves from getting the disease. And we will be further motivated to take preventative actions. That’s how the right amount of fear helps.
In a word, what we should do is to accept the fact that we have fear, get to know it better, and recognized its positive implications.
Positive thinking is like a vaccine. It improves the immune system.
