No new asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on August 9. No asymptomatic case developed to the ed one and no asymptomatic patient had been discharged from quarantine. 1 asymptomatic patient is under medical quarantine in Yichang.

As of 24:00, August 9, a total of 63,623 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. 68,139 cumulative ed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
