Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on June 5, 2021

No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on June 5. Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death. 

No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on June 5. No asymptomatic case developed to the c0nfirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Six asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine （four were inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on April 26, May 11, 18 and 25 and June 1; one was an inbound passenger on Flight CZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17; one was an inbound passenger on Flight PK854 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Xi’an on May 15）. 416 close contacts were under medical quarantine （two were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 11; three were close contacts of the c0nfirmed patient on Flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Guangzhou on April 30; 26 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17; 191 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 25; 190 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on June 1; three were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight PK854 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Xi’an on May 15; one was the close contact of the c0nfirmed and asymptomatic patients outside of Hubei province in the country）.

There is no c0nfirmed case and no suspected case. As of 24:00, June 5, a total of 63,647 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,159 cumulative c0nfirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
