Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on July 7, 2021

No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on July 7. Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death. 

No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on July 7. No asymptomatic case developed to the c0nfirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. 34 asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine （all are inbound passengers: two on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on June 8 and 29 respectively; one on Flight JT2619 from Jakarta, Indonesia to Wuhan on June 21; 30 on Flight MF8008 from Afghanistan to Wuhan on July 2; one on Flight JT2619 from Jakarta, Indonesia to Wuhan on July 5）. 711 close contacts were under medical quarantine （one was the close contact of the asymptomatic patient on Flight PK854 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Xi’an on May 15; one was the close contact of the c0nfirmed patient on Flight CZ8140 on June 15; 150 were close contacts of the c0nfirmed patient on Flight JT2619 on June 28; 221 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on Flight CZ8140 on June 29; 158 were close contacts of the c0nfirmed and asymptomatic patients on Flight MF8008 from Afghanistan to Wuhan on July 2; 159 were close contacts of the c0nfirmed and asymptomatic patients on Flight JT2619 from Jakarta, Indonesia to Wuhan on July 5; 21 were close contacts of the c0nfirmed and asymptomatic patients outside of Hubei province in the country）.

As of 24:00, July 7, a total of 63,648 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,187 cumulative c0nfirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
